"It makes me imagine the act of scratching out the face. Maybe it was the Porcelaine herself who did it to a photo of herself (judging from the other phots she's submitted). I can imagine a moment when she could have wanted to eliminate herself - we all feel like that sometimes. Then the message "erase and rewind" indicates a new beginning. Well that's a good thing to think, and we all do it several times in our lives. The shading in the top left hand corner is frightening because it seems to be spreading and might wipe every thing out. I know there's a kind of depression where everything and everybody appears to have gone totally mad. The shading reminds me of that feeling. A blanked out face could depict that depressed state where there is nothing at all in your mind. She seems to be turning to look at the girl with long brown hair who is oninously static. "Silliness by me" indicates whatever cuased the work, it's passed. good. Welcome back!
